High School Girl's Conference

We’re excited to launch the inaugural High School Girl’s Leadership Conference, a half-day event, tailored for girls aged 14–18, aims to develop our future leaders by creating strong, confident girls. This event will feature engaging sessions, workshops, and impactful keynote presentations from experienced leaders and educators.

Our Teen girls are in crisis.The challenges that we professional women face start when we are in our teens. Research continues to tell us the issues of belonging, self-esteem and empowerment are significant in teenage girls. The High School Girl's Leadership Conference is a half-day to elevate these wonderful young women’s sense of belonging and self-esteem.

Flying Through Fear: How Vulnerability Fuels Success

MICHELLE CURRAN

Michelle, also known as MACE, led an impressive career as a Fighter Pilot during her 13 years in the United States Air Force. From 2019–2021, she flew as the only female pilot for the Air Force Thunderbirds and performed for millions across the country and internationally. Upon joining this high performing team, she rapidly discovered the best part was not the flying, but the opportunity to inspire others. Michelle was only the 2nd woman to fly as the Lead Solo in the Thunderbird demonstration since the team’s creation in 1953. She realized this put her in a unique position to empower others. Let her share her stories of unbelievable flying, facing fears, and unwavering trust with your team. Michelle will bring real world experience and inspiration to you.

Tame Your Inner Critic

In this session you will learn the importance of practicing the art of honoring the greatness within yourself and others by being aware of your main saboteur, your Judge (internal critic). Your brain rewards you for creating a judgment; however, it is unable to discern the accuracy of your judgements. Your brain's main function is to save your life. When you are in your survival brain it doesn't allow you to thrive. Your thoughts, both accurate and inaccurate, might be more vital than how you communicate with others. Your "Judge" is typically activated when you think and operate out of Ego or Insecurity. When you are operating out of ego or insecurity you are unable to live in the "circle of health." The Judge wants you to consistently judge yourself, others and the circumstances. In this growth session you will Name, Claim and learn how to Tame your Judge. It's time to turn down the volume on all the lies it tells you!

ALI STARR

Our breakout speaker today is Ali Starr, the first thing you might want to know about her is she loves her husband Jeff with every ounce of her being. She loves golfing, fishing, creating arts and crafts, and having dance parties with her children Penelope (PJ- 10), Vincent (Vinny-13), Ava (Jo-Jo 18) and Lilly (Hammer - 20).

Ali “gets to” work for a company called Tashi Deley (Ta-She Delay). Ta-She Delay is a Tibet greeting that means "I see you, and I honor the greatness within you." To Ali, Tashi Deley is a movement, a way of being more so than a business! She is on a mission to ignite 8 billion heartbeats to connect deep within and honor the greatness within others.

Prior to creating Tashi Deley Ali served some amazing heartbeats in several different roles: VP of Culture Development at Verve, a Credit Union; NBA; NCAA; NBC 26; Elementary School Principal; Personal Trainer; and Varsity High School Girls Basketball Coach.

Throughout all of her different careers, one thing has remained consistent; when people show up in a way they are proud of, anything is possible! When those in leadership roles make the people they serve their top priority, everyone wins! Her leadership style is one of self-awareness, self-discovery, empowerment, candor, and unconditional love. She firmly believes leading yourself is the top priority and a lifelong journey, not a destination. Ali lives by the motto "who you are is good enough, don't ever stop creating the next best version of yourself. It feels great to grow."

Drawing from her 12-year experience as a guidance counselor on Long Island's North Shore, Leah amplifies her clients' visions, fostering growth and achievement. Beyond her professional endeavors, she leads a busy family life, shuttling her three elementary school-aged children to various activities while supporting her eldest daughter's volleyball tournaments. Alongside her husband, Leah enjoys rooting for New York sports teams and maintains an active lifestyle through activities like weightlifting, swimming, running, and biking in her hometown of Setauket.

Based in Setauket, New York, Leah balances her coaching practice with family commitments, embodying a dedication to both personal wellness and community engagement. Her approach integrates holistic empowerment and practical strategies to catalyze positive change in the lives of her clients.
